Hi GitBook Team,
I’m interested in using GitBook purely as an authoring and collaboration platform for a novel.
I’m not evaluating GitBook’s capabilities, I understand it already supports collaborative editing, review, commenting, and GitHub-based workflows. My question is specifically about pricing and plan structure.
My use case requires:

I want to use GitBook solely for collaborative writing and editorial review, not as a publishing or documentation platform.
At the moment, the available plans appear to bundle collaboration features together with web publishing and site functionality, which significantly increases the cost for my use case.
My question is simply this:
If not, I would appreciate understanding how you recommend authors with this use case approach GitBook from a cost perspective.
