Feature Request: Improve Accessibility and PDF Support for Annotations

Hi GitBook,

Currently, when annotations are applied, screen readers do not read the annotation descriptions, and the annotated terms are announced without their associated context. Similarly, in the PDF version of the documentation, the annotated term is visible, but the annotation description is not included.

To improve accessibility and overall readability, annotation descriptions should be exposed to screen readers and rendered in a way that ensures they are included in exported PDF documentation. This will ensure annotations provide equivalent value across assistive technologies and offline formats.
